We are a licensed Bhutan tour company in Punakha. We plan private trips across this beautiful Himalayan country.

Our story

Born in a Bhutanese valley

At Beetle Travels we plan trips that connect you with the real Bhutan: our culture, our mountains and our daily life.

We work from Punakha, the old winter capital. We drive, walk and eat in the same valleys we plan for you. We write every trip by hand, one guest at a time.

Our name comes from the beetle. It moves slowly, carries only what it needs, and leaves the ground as it found it.
