Cultural Bhutan Tour

A relaxed trip through Paro, Thimphu and Punakha, full of temples, crafts and everyday life in western Bhutan.

The trip

About this trip

This is our classic trip: seven easy-paced days across Bhutan's three western valleys, with time for the small moments too, like a chat with a monk, a visit to a weaver's home, or a long lunch at a farmhouse.

It is perfect for first-time visitors who want to see fewer places properly, rather than rushing through many.

Highlights

  • Tiger's Nest Monastery at sunrise
  • Punakha Dzong and the prayer-flag bridge
  • Craft and textile visits in Thimphu
  • Farmhouse dinner and hot stone bath
  • Quiet temple visits away from the crowds
