Our guide Sonam met us in Paro, changed the walking plan when my mother got tired, and still got us to Tiger's Nest at the quietest hour of the morning. The farmhouse dinner in Punakha was the moment my kids keep talking about.

Black-necked cranes in Phobjikha at sunrise, hot stone bath after a cold day, and a driver who somehow always had ginger tea ready. Everything felt personal rather than packaged.

Travelled solo and never once felt like an afterthought. Rooms were upgraded twice without me asking, and the team handled a flight change out of Bangkok while I was still asleep.

Wonderful planning and a lovely guide. The only reason for four stars is one long driving day between valleys that felt heavy after an early flight. The team offered to break it up and we said no, so partly our own fault.

Short trip, very well used. Suspension bridge early, dzong before the buses, and a proper local lunch instead of a hotel buffet. Would use them again for a longer route.
